SANCTUM is a creative essay exploring the importance of shrines, in their many forms.

I wanted to pay homage to the diversity of what defines a shrine or an altar, and to ask myself what it is that draws us to create sacred spaces. How do they aid us in our everyday life? What is it that creates that ‘precious’ feeling?
